Several airlines operating mostly new Boeing 777-300ERs with GE Aviation GE90-115B engines are either replacing engines or gearboxes since GE issued two service bulletins after two inflight shut downs due to gear separation in gearboxes.

CAE announced at EBACE today that it has entered into a long-term agreement with Gama Aviation for pilot training services, including e-Learning, on four Bombardier aircraft types - Learjet 45, Learjet 60, Learjet 60XR, and Global Express. The training will be conducted at CAE's aviation training centre in Burgess Hill, UK, near London Gatwick Airport.

Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT) and CAE announced today at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) the signing of a three-year contract with ExecuJet Aviation Group for pilot and technical training services on more than 30 aircraft types - including models for Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault, Gulfstream, Hawker, King Air, Turbo Commander and Westwind.

CAE has sold a CAE 7000 Series Airbus A330/A340 convertible FFS to Saudi Arabian Airlines (SVA), the national airline of Saudi Arabia, as well as an enhanced CAE Simfinity Airbus Pilot Transition (APT) trainer. The simulator and APT trainer will be delivered to the Prince Sultan Aviation Academy in Jeddah in 2011.

Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT) announced today that it will further expand its business aircraft training programs for pilots and maintenance technicians with the addition of a CAE 7000 Series Level D full-flight simulator in Dubai for the Dassault Falcon 900EX and Falcon 2000EX models. The simulator will be ready for training in the first quarter of 2011.

Bombardier Aerospace announced the expansion of its worldwide training network: five additional Bombardier business aircraft simulators will be, or are planned to be, available for training in Europe, the United States and the Middle East by early 2011. The announcement includes Bombardier's purchase of a new, CAE-built Challenger 605 aircraft full-flight simulator.
