The US FAA and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) inked a milestone Maintenance Implementation Procedures (MIP) maintenance agreement, which is designed to “strengthen aviation safety while reducing the cost of inspections on repair work,” FAA Administrator Michael Huerta said.
