Safety in African Aviation Conference to take place in Kigali in November

AviAssist Foundation has released its programme for the fourth Safety in African Aviation Conference.

John Mirenge, CEO of Rwandair, will deliver the opening address. Mirenge will talk about inspiring safety steps, fueled by Rwandair passing a major international safety milestone with its IATA IOSA registration in 2014 and set for major intercontinental expansion.

The event will take place in Kigali, Rwanda on 19 & 20 November.

This year's conference includes two in-depth training seminars so you can take home practical tips on maturing you safety culture and improving runway safety.

The conference is part of the Rwanda pop-up safety campus. The campus will include:

* A 3-day Fundamentals of Airworthiness Certification Course - 16-18 November
* A 2 -day Flight Data Management course - 17 & 18 November
* A 5-day IATA Dangerous Goods Course (cat. 6) - 23-27 November
