Programme set for the 2010 Doha Aviation Summit
The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority in conjunction with conference organiser Naseba are to host another Doha Aviation Summit following the success of the event last year.
The 2010 edition will be held October 30th – November 1st.
This year’s platform will gather influential international and regional decision makers from across the industry to discuss and decide on the future of aviation. The summit is held under the patronage of His Excellency Abdul Aziz Al Noaimi, chairman of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority.
The three-day summit will be attended by more than 200 representatives from leading global airports, airlines, civil aviation authorities, and government bodies.
Al Noaimi, who is highly optimistic about the summit, said, “The aviation world has changed significantly over the past few months. With the worst of economic crisis behind us, now is the perfect time to look to the future. Continuing the theme 'vision for limitless skies', this year’s summit will concentrate on opening up opportunities for growth between the Arab states and the international aviation market.”

Moving on from the recent economic crisis, the Doha Aviation Summit will investigate the volcanic ash disruption and its impact on aviation organisations outside of Europe.
