Spotlight: Maaz Dossa Aviation Week's 20 Twenties Winner 2026

Maaz Dossa is a 2026 20 Twenties winner and an undergraduate student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he is pursuing his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Class of 2026. His pioneering work focuses on advancing aviation safety and efficiency through innovative turbulence suppression technology and autonomous control systems.

Dossa cofounded Endeavor Elements to address critical challenges in regional aviation, developing a sophisticated turbulence suppression system that has attracted substantial pre-seed funding and secured a commercial contract covering more than 50 aircraft. He engineered a real-time control stack that integrates Doppler lidar technology with model predictive control algorithms, while strategically navigating FAA certification requirements. At Georgia Tech, he conducts cutting-edge research in autonomous control, applying reinforcement learning and stochastic optimization techniques to both aerial and legged robotic systems. His work represents a significant advancement in adaptive control systems for next-generation aerospace applications.

A first-generation international college student from India, Dossa gained valuable industry experience as a Boeing fleet structures engineering intern at Delta TechOps. Demonstrating exceptional leadership, he founded Georgia Tech's Supersonics Club, which expanded to more than 200 members within two years, fostering a vibrant community of students passionate about high-speed flight technology.

He is committed to pursuing advanced research in autonomous aerospace systems and aims to continue pushing the boundaries of intelligent flight control technology.
