EgyptAir delegation visits New Suez Canal project

EgyptAir has recently visited the New Suez Canal project, due to be opened in August. The delegation was headed by Capt. Sameh El-Hefny, Chairman and CEO of EGYPTAIR Holding Co. and Capt. Ahmed Adel, the vice president, in addition to CEOs and a group of the senior managers of the company.

They were welcomed by Suez Canal Authority chairman Mohab Mameesh. This was the second visit after the previous one made in last December in the framework of EgyptAir's support to this national project.

"It's a historical moment for all of us to see the last stages of work on this project and we are sure that the Egyptian leadership is able to achieve economic recovery through such major projects," said El-Hefny.

"We feel grateful to Mameesh for giving us the opportunity to visit the new Suez Canal and for his hospitality in this wonderful visit. I would like to extend our thanks to all the workers in this huge national project as they turn the dream of the new Suez Canal into a reality in a short period.”
