Dates set for AASA assembly

The Airlines Association of Southern Africa (AASA) will hold its 43rd Annual General Assembly from 17-20 October 2013 in Somerset West near Cape Town.

The event is a gathering of executives from Southern African airlines, airports, air navigation services, aircraft and engine manufacturers, ground handling companies, government policy makers, regulatory bodies and other associated businesses and organisations.

AASA Chief Executive, Chris Zweigenthal, says the Annual General Assembly "will attract about 300 delegates from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region and abroad".

"As with all AASA annual meetings, topical issues relating to matters affecting airlines and air travel in the region will dominate the debates and panel discussions which will also include views from international experts," added Mr Zweigenthal.
