Bahrain show - sales going well and preparing for success

Bahrain Air Show is on target to sell out all of its VIP chalets for the island's first air event in January 2010

Speaking at the Paris Air Show, Ahmed Nemat Ali, the Assist umder Secretary for Bahrain's Dept of Civil Aviation and the co-chairman of the show, said that more than 40% of the chalets had now been sold to companies such as Boeing and Rolls-Royce.

"We are very pleased," he said. "Bahrain has a long heritage with the aviation industry and this hsow will give us the opportunity toshow how much we are committed to aviation."

The show is being organised in conjunction with Farnborough International and will take place January 21-23, 2010.
