US Aviation Academy, TRU Simulation Sign Simulator Agreement

TRU Simulation, a Textron company, signed an agreement with U.S. Aviation Academy for the purchase of five Cessna Skyhawk Veris virtual reality (VR) simulators. According to Textron, the order marks the Veris VR simulator’s introduction into the fixed-wing training market and is TRU Simulation’s first fleet order for VR training devices. U.S. Aviation Academy also holds the option for the purchase of an additional 10 units as part of the agreement. The Cessna Skyhawk Veris VR simulator meets the FAA’s Flight Training Device Level 7 standards, featuring a fully configured cockpit equipped with authentic Garmin G1000NXi avionics.
