Gogo Plans Air-To-Ground Connectivity Update

BOSTON—Gogo is overhauling its ground-based connectivity system over the U.S. and Canada to bring inflight speeds in line with its satellite-based offering. The latest upgrade is in development, expected to enter commercial service in 2018, Gogo Chief Technology Officer Anand Chari told Aviation Daily. It will be targeted for use on business and regional jets.
