Wall Street firm sees "excessive" airline concentration
A Salomon Smith Barney analysis of the 50 largest U.S. airports finds that 33 of them, or 66%, have "excessive amounts" of airline concentration. Six of the biggest 10 showed increases in concentration. The most concentrated were Dallas Love Field, Cincinnati, Charlotte, Pittsburgh and Minneapolis.
