U.S. Navy Issues New EA-6B Contracts
As prime contractor for the EA-6B Prowler Improved Capability (ICAP) III system, Northrop Grumman Systems Integrated Systems sector in Bethpage, N.Y., received a $73.25 million sole-source U.S. Navy fixed-price ID/IQ contract on May 2. This was for FY06 full-rate production (LOT II) of four complete AN/ALQ-218 Tactical Jamming System Receivers (TJSRs), plus one partial AN/ALQ-218 system and spares, to equip the Navy's ICAP III EA-6Bs from 2008.
