United Becomes Airbus' Largest Airline Customer
United has ordered seven Airbus A319s and eight A320s for delivery beginning in the first quarter of 2003. The 15-aircraft order follows a 44-aircraft order placed in 2000 and makes United the largest customer for Airbus aircraft with 192 units. United currently operates 102 A319s and A320s.
