TSA Sets More Passenger Screeners Than Baggage Screeners In 2004
Loy reports the FY2004 budget covers 59,000 positions in TSA, including air marshals. He projects 29,800 passenger screeners and 18,300 baggage screeners on the agency's payroll by the end of that year.
