VAS Aero Services will manage the teardown of three A380s by France’s Tarmac Aerosave; parts will be positioned among operators in Europe and the Middle East,

Regional aircraft manufacturer ATR is increasingly seeing decommissioned ATR 72s and ATR 42s as a source of spare parts.

The project is the company’s answer to an identified need for storage and end-of-life services in China.

The dismantling facility will be capable of handling six medium to large-sized aircraft annually; the freight facility will handle 5,000 pieces of cargo/hour.
