Four A320neos, formerly operated by Go First and currently owned by parts trading specialist AerFin, have been dismantled and recycled by Tarmac Aerosave.
In the past, aluminum coming from end-of-life aircraft could be used as an ingredient in new ingots. This time, one kg of end-of-life aluminum converts into one kg of aircraft production-ready metal.
VAS Aero Services will manage the teardown of three A380s by France’s Tarmac Aerosave; parts will be positioned among operators in Europe and the Middle East,
The dismantling facility will be capable of handling six medium to large-sized aircraft annually; the freight facility will handle 5,000 pieces of cargo/hour.
