As Indian carrier Vistara signals its intention to begin flying to the US, Taiwanese airline Starlux has made headway in its efforts to serve the North American country.
The US carrier is restarting nonstop service to Shanghai later this month and in November plans to resume flights on almost 30 international routes, targeting leisure and VFR traffic.
This week: Philippine Airlines is resuming service between Cebu and Los Angeles; China Airlines plans to re-enter the market between Taipei Taoyuan and Routes Asia 2020 host Chiang Mai; and BA CityFlyer is filling a gap in the market left by Thomas Cook.
