As JetBlue today launches its first transatlantic route, Routes takes a look at the current state of play in the lucrative market between the US and UK.
In tandem with JetBlue’s announcement, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey will greenlight the airline’s plans to develop a Terminal 6 at JFK.
The airline will fly to 12 US destinations by late July—the same number as before the pandemic—with capacity to and from the country around 60% of 2019 levels.
