Canada’s London International Airport is steadily rebuilding and expanding its route network after the pandemic, both domestically and internationally.

The flag carrier is ramping up flying in Canada next summer.

The ULCC plans to add a new warm weather vacation destination to its network from January.

The network additions include the launch of a new international destination from the ULCC’s Western Canadian base.

Canada’s second-largest airline said it is operating a 90%-reduced schedule.

Canadian ULCC Swoop is increasing its domestic network from July but several planned seasonal services have been postponed.

WestJet will introduce a twice daily domestic service between London Metropolitan Area Airport and Lester B Pearson International Airport in Toronto from the end of March 2016. The link, operated by its regional division WestJet Encore using Bombardier Dash 8-Q400 NextGen turboprop equipment, will complement its existing service to Calgary and seasonal sun charters to the US and Caribbean from London.
