Thai AirAsia and Indonesia AirAsia are growing their networks with new services to Nepal and Hong Kong respectively.

A Saurya Airlines CRJ200 crashed during takeoff in Kathmandu, Nepal, on July 24, resulting in 18 fatalities.

The plans seek to build on a relationship that stretches back to 2011.

The service is expected to satisfy VFR demand from the Middle East and Europe.

The LCC is also resuming and commencing a slew of domestic routes.
