India’s fast-growing middle class and its connections with the UK are creating new route opportunities for flag carriers and startups.

CEO Navdip Singh Judge says that if its long-haul low-cost model doesn’t work then that business model doesn’t work.

The carrier has been trying to start flights between the UK and India since 2016.

Flypop, which plans a series of routes between the UK and South Asia, aims to start flights in October.
