Embraer has begun work on its new Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility for commercial jets at Perot Field Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas.

Envoy Air and Piedmont Airlines, two wholly owned subsidiaries of American Airlines Group, are adding new Embraer E175s to their respective regional fleets.

Since the post-pandemic peaks of "revenge travel," U.S. carriers have started to change how they use their feeder networks.

Nineteen Embraer regional jets will join the fleet of American Airlines Group subsidiary Envoy Air.

U.S. regional feeder emissions per ASK are nearly double that of the airlines they feed.  

Embraer announced two firm orders for the Embraer 175 and 195-E2 at the Paris Air Show on June 20 and confirmed the entry of Avolon as another E2 lessor.

Flights to Dominica and Anguilla will begin in December.
