Joby Aviation says it has acquired an existing facility at Dayton International Airport in Ohio to begin initial parts manufacturing.

Joby’s S4 electric-vertical-takeoff-and-landing aircraft are scheduled to begin rolling off the final assembly line at Dayton International Airport in 2025.

The carrier is buttressing its MCO base, where it trains pilots and flight attendants.
