Bell V-280

Bell is formally transitioning the V-280 from the U.S. Army’s Joint Multi-Role Technology Demonstrator program to focus on the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft.

A Bell V-280 tiltrotor has become the first aircraft to fly with GKN thermoplastic composite parts made from recycled waste material.

The Bell V-280 Valor flies its first public demonstration of 2020 at Bell’s Flight Research Center in Arlington, Texas.

The demo will showcase the capability designed into the V-280’s fly-by-wire flight control system.
