Pakistan and Bangladesh have become the two countries that owe the most money—more than $700 million—to overseas airlines, according to IATA.

US-Bangla Airlines is planning to expand its network further into the Middle East, following the delivery of its first Airbus A330-300.

Chittagong will become Saudia’s second destination in Bangladesh.

The two Airbus A330-200s are intended to support US-Bangla’s expansion aspirations on medium-haul routes to the Middle East.

Two new destinations in Bangladesh and India will join the LCC’s network for the first time.

The route will become the sole nonstop service between the countries.

The bilateral deal allows for the potential launch of new routes between the two countries.
