Air Incheon and All Nippon Airways have begun codesharing on Japan-South Korea cargo services following each carrier's respective freighter integrations.

Asiana Airlines has completed the sale of its freighter business to Air Incheon, which has now been rebranded as Air Zeta.

The deadline for completing Air Incheon’s takeover of Asiana Airlines’ cargo division has been extended by several weeks.

Korean LCC Air Incheon has applied for the U.S. approvals it needs to take over Asiana’s cargo routes to that country in mid-2025.

Korean Air has reached an agreement with Air Incheon regarding the sale of Asiana’s cargo unit, which is expected to be split off after Korean takes over Asiana.

This represents an important step toward the proposed Korean Air-Asiana merger.

Four airlines had expressed interest in the Asiana freighter acquisition—Air Incheon, Air Premia, Eastar Jet and Jeju Air.
