The ErgoTouch 3000 series of flat panel industrial computers uses a new touch screen technology called near field imaging. NFI allows the touch screen to withstand extreme industrial environments while providing high levels of accuracy and clarity. The solid glass screen resists abrasions, chemicals and moisture but can be used with gloved hands. NFI also allows concurrent touch, so the screen can emulate right mouse-key functions that are increasingly used in control software.
