Swissair's Gate Gourmet
Swissair's Gate Gourmet catering unit said yesterday it has acquired the catering operations at Rio de Janeiro's airport of Varig of Brazil as part of its continuing expansion in South America. Gate Gourmet already operates in Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires. The purchase price at Rio was not disclosed.
