Miami (Florida) International Airport’s (MIA) 33-story control tower was completed in December 2002. At 333 ft., the $24.9 million tower was the second tallest in the nation behind the 345-ft. control tower at Orlando International Airport, and 111 ft. higher than the tower it replaced.
