Southwest, Mechanics Reach Tentative Agreement
Southwest last week reached a tentative agreement with its mechanics on a new contract. Mechanics will vote on the proposal, and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters recommended accepting it. The contract will extend to Aug. 15, 2005, and will be retroactive to Aug. 16, 2001.
