Did You Win The Concorde LEGO Model?
NYCO, experts in hydraulic fluids and engine oils, offered delegates the chance to win a Concorde LEGO model worth £169.99 ($228), by dropping their business cards into a tin at their booth #1430.
Follow Your Nose
MRO show regulars Fokker (booth #331) keep delegates satiated with their stroopwafels. Stroopwafels are a traditional Dutch confection consisting of two thin, crispy waffle cookies sandwiched together with a sweet, sticky syrup filling, which originated in the Netherlands. Stroopwafel-maker Maarten Schroeb was, this year, accompanied by his son Boris.
Meet The Massage Angels
If delegates have been to five or more MRO shows, they are invited to our Frequent Flyer Lounge. This year at London's ExCel, delegates were treated to a massage with the Massage Angels. Our Frequent Flyer Lounge was situated next to the Go Live! Theater.
Flight Simulator
Exhibitor SkySmart's booth (#2138) offered delegates a go at the full-motion virtual reality simulator and to fly a jet through a valley in Wales.
iPad And AirPods To Be Won
CAS - Composite Aeronautic Specialists, booth #829, offered delegates who put their business cards in a bowl the chance to win an iPad and a pair of AirPods.
Just Air Gimmicks
JustAir (booth #1331), which specializes in the sale, exchange and loan of aircraft parts, was giving away branded toilet paper and a whoopee cushion for delegates to bring out their inner child!
Blue Raven Goodies
Blue Raven Solutions (booth #1713) was giving away notebooks, card holders that stick to the back of a mobile phone and a two-piece chrome bottle-opener in the shape of an aircraft tail.
