Video: Airlink Seeks More Industry Support For Humanitarian Aid

Humanitarian aid organization Airlink spoke at Aviation Week's MRO Americas 2024 conference at its Go LIVE! Theater, to encourage more support from the aviation community.

Lauren Makely, the Development Manager at Airlink, spoke to Aviation Week Network on the sidelines of MRO Americas in Chicago's exhibition center, McCormick Place.

She said: "The aviation industry's humanitarian impact is often overlooked, but through cargo operations and Airlink, skilled responders are sent to disaster zones. Airlink seeks more support to deliver disaster cargo to communities in need."

Airlink is  supported by 50+ aviation partners. Airlink partners with non-profits and aviation organizations to deliver disaster supplies and aid worldwide. It offers passenger and cargo transportation services at local, national, and international levels.

The charity collaborates with more than 100 non-profit organizations and 40 aviation partners.
