The second annual conference and exhibition took place in the Grand Kempinski Hotel in Dallas, Texas, and featured speakers from Swissair, British Airways, Boeing and more.

As the event began to grow, the thiird edition was held in Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and was sponsored by ORACLE, GE Engine Services, Boeing, SAP and more.

Now the biggest MRO event ever, 2001's edition was held in Wydndham-Antole Hotel in Dallas Texas, with over 28- companies exhibiting.
2002
Held in Phoenix Civix Plaza & Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona, 2002's event featured speakers from Honeywell, Delta Air Lines, Air Canada and more.
2003
Returning to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 2003's edition launched the MRO Latin America conference, focusing on the emerging opportunities in the region.
2004
Continually growing, 2004's edition in Atlanta, Georgia, featured the MRO Latin America conference as well as introducing MRO Military.
2005
Returning to Texas in Lake Grapevine, 2005's edition celebrated 10 years with topics including 'Next-Generation PMA Parts and Certification' and 'Engine MRO: Managing the Mix of Engines.
2008
The conference and exhibition was held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, again and launched the MRO Interiors section of the show as well as featuring the MRO Military conference.
2009
The first year of being promoted as 'MRO Americas' - previously being just 'MRO Conference & Exhibition'. This edition returned to Dallas, Texas and its Gold Sponsors included aveos, Delta, Goodrich and more.
2010
Promoted as 'the largest gathering place of its kind for airlines, operators, OEMs, MROs and their suppliers', 2010's event took place in Phoenix, Arizona.
2011
'Implementing leaner practices without compromising safety', MRO Americas 2011 held in Miami, Florida, was co-located with MRO Military and MRO Latin America.

The 2012 edition returned to Dallas, Texas and had 42 sponsors including StandardAero, AAR, Pratt & Whitney, AerSale and more.

Advertised as a 'mega event, designed to meet your end-to-end MRO needs', 2013's event was bigger than ever and took place in Atlanta, Georgia.

The 2014 event in Phoenix, Arizona, launched new extended exhibition hours to provide attendees with more time to make business happen.

Learn from case studies, meet the experts and test-drive new products. MRO Americas 2015 took place in Miami, Florida and celebrated 20 years of changing how MROs and airlines do business.

Featuring the Aviation Week brand we see still today, MRO Americas 2016 took place in Dallas, Texas.

Taking place in Orlando, Florida, MRO Americas 2017 featured numerous new features including an extended Aviation Maintenance Competition and the MRO Americas University.

With 800+ solution providers and airline sessions from Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Southwest and more, MRO Americas 2018 returned to Orlando, Florida to hold the industry's largest maintenance conference and exhibition.

'The #1 event for aviation maintenance, where every piece comes together', MRO Americas 2019 took place in Atlanta, Georgia and featured speakers from Delta, Atlas Air, Copa Airlines and more.

Originally scheduled for April 28-30 in Dallas, TX, MRO Americas was poised to celebrate 25 years and our largest gathering of industry professionals to date—all in Texas where we hosted the very first MRO!

MRO Americas had been rescheduled for September 1-3, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. The unprecedented postponement was necessary to protect all of our customers and employees. As we all dealt with this crisis, Aviation Week remained committed to our customers’ success.

As the pandemic continued, Aviation Week needed to adapt with the introduction of MRO TransAtlantic, a virtual conference which brought together our North American and European audiences for 3 days of virtual panels and networking.

As our first in-person event since the beginning of 2020, MRO Americas 2021 was an important opportunity for our community to come back together and begin the road to recovery.
