Video: Expect Tighter Security At EBACE 2024

Aviation Week Network’s Associate Editor, Jeremy Kariuki, has reported on what to expect from EBACE 2024.

This year, there is an anticipated significant drop in attendees compared to previous years, with notable absentees from Gulfstream and Bombardier, who traditionally attend EBACE. There’s speculation as to why exhibitors are choosing not to attend, such as the cost of attendance.

Last year, EBACE’s static display was disrupted by protestors, some of whom were injured due to attaching themselves to the aircraft. As a result, tighter security measures are in place this year. An authorized protest is due to take place this week, and the EBACE organizers suggest avoiding making contact with them and reporting disruptive behavior to the event security.
