“This is an industry that we believe will come alive in 2025. As we start to build out, we will make minimal changes to the existing infrastructure, be it air traffic control or takeoff-and-landing sites initially. As we begin to accelerate into 2028 and beyond, we want to ensure that once we’re building dedicated infrastructure, we can support the growth and scale of this industry.”
“Maybe in 2025, we’ll have multiples of 10 to 20 eVTOLs globally; by 2026 or 2027 that gets into the hundreds, by 2028 and beyond it’ll be in the thousands, and by the time we enter the 2030s, we’ll have a mature industry on our hands.”

“We only want to be hassled with developing and supporting our aircraft, which is enough of a challenge. We have decided that when it comes to operations, we are not going to operate our own aircraft. We are not an airline, we don’t want to be an airline, and we don’t want to be in competition with our customers. We also don’t want to be operating infrastructure. But we are consulting with our partners to make sure that infrastructure is going to be put in place in time.”
Jean Botti From Volt Aero (Founder And CEO)
“The beauty of hybridization is that from an infrastructure standpoint, it’s totally agnostic. If we start from Point A and there is a charger, that’s great. If we go to Point B and there is no charger, that’s fine too, we can take off with fuel. This means we get to enjoy the benefits of electric aviation without the infrastructure constraints.”
