RUSSIA'S SPACE INDUSTRY contracted with foreign partners for $470 million worth of goods and services in 1997, and hopes to break $1 billion in 2000, the Interfax new agency reported Jan. 3. Government sources told Interfax they expect about $640 million in space exports this year.
