Praxair, Inc. named Roberts S. Vruggink president of Praxair Surface Technologies. He succeeds Thomas von Krannichfeldt, who retired Dec. 1. Vruggink joined Praxair in 2001 and most recently was area director for Praxair's U.S. southern region for industrial gases.
