Pratt&Whitney Recalls More Than 8,000 Turbine Blades

Pratt&Whitney said yesterday it has recalled more than 8,000 turbine blades from PW4000, PW2000, JT9D and V2500 engines used on aircraft ranging from A320s to 747s. The company and FAA are concerned that some of the blades may have been damaged by an "overly aggressive" new ultrasonic cleaning...
