British Airways recovers after IT problems

British Airways said May 30 it had fully recovered its schedules after the major weekend IT crash that grounded the airline’s fleet across the world.
Chicago-based United Airlines will transition Boston-San Francisco flights to “premium transcontinental” service from July 1, offering 28 lie-flat business-class seats on each flight between the cities.
JetBlue to trial facial recognition technology

JetBlue Airways is partnering with US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Global air transport IT specialist SITA to trial facial recognition technology to identify passengers boarding aircraft.
