Northwest Airlink affiliate Mesaba Airlines carried 186,000 passengers last month, up 21.6% from March 1996 and a record. Revenue passenger miles increased 28.5% to 43.2 million from 33.7 million; capacity climbed 26.6% to 81.4 million available seat miles from 64.3 million.
