Israel Aerospace Industries has released a new electronic warfare system that provides an added layer of self defense for aircraft. The ELL-8270, developed by IAI’s Elta Group intelligence subsidiary, is hauled by the aircraft, which protects it by acting as a distractor to radar-guided missiles. The new hauled “bait” is on display at the Singapore Airshow (Booth CD07).
