SR Technics has won new contracts from Qatar Airways and the UK's Thomson Airways, paving its way to be the maintenance, repair and overhaul industry's third-largest player, within three to five years.

Afriqiyah Airways has signed 10-year OnPointSM solution agreement for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of its CFM56-5B engine fleet. The agreement is valued at more than $50 million (USD) over the life of the contract.

Air Arabia, has announced the selection of the CFM56-5B engine to power its 44 Airbus A320 family aircraft order announced in 2007. This new engine selection, which will more than double the airlines' CFM56-5B powered A320 fleet, is valued at more than $620 million U.S. at list price.

ULS Cargo has signed a base maintenance service contract with Turkish Technic, to cover base maintenance C-check of three A310F's. Maintenance works will be carried out at Turkish Technic's facilities in Istanbul, Turkey until the end of this year.
