Rockwell Collins established an asset management program in China with China Eastern Aviation Import Export Corp. (CEAIEC), a subsidiary of China Eastern Aviation Group. ST Aerospace signed a 10-year contract with Eastar Jet to support the operator's six Boeing 737NGs as well as three more that Eastar will be introducing into its fleet by 2021. The contract is valued at up to $15 million per year. ST Aerospace will provide a suite of services, including off-wing engine maintenance, on-wing services, technical and spare engine support. ST Aerospace will maintain Eastar's engines at its facilities in Singapore and Xiamen, China.

Aveos signed a five-year agreement for repair and overhaul of Snecma's CFM56-5 engines and line replaceable units.

Pratt & Whitney signed a three-year memorandum of understanding with National Formosa University to allow students to participate in a curriculum for commercial engine maintenance and other professional training over a six-week period. The training will take place at Pratt & Whitney's customer training center in China.
