NASA Releases 56 Technologies Into Public Domain
NASA has released 56 formerly patented technologies into the public domain for unrestricted commercial use, and launched a searchable database that catalogs thousands of older expired NASA patents. The technologies include advanced manufacturing processes, sensors, propulsion methods, rocket nozzles, thrusters, aircraft wing designs and improved rocket safety and performance concepts, according to NASA.
