MTU named Dr. Uwe Blöcker president and CEO
MTU named Dr. Uwe Blöcker president and CEO effective March 1. He succeeds Ferdinand Exler, who led the company since 2002. Blöcker's 17 years of aviation experience include managerial positions at Deutsche Lufthansa in Hamburg, Lufthansa Airmotive Ireland in Dublin, and AMECO Beijing in China.
