West Star Aviation Begins Grand Junction MRO Expansion

West Star Aviation broke ground at its Grand Junction, Colo., MRO facility, where it will add 109,000 ft.² in space.

According to West Star, the expansion will add 40,000 ft.² of hangar space, 38,000 ft.² of office and back shop space, and an extra 31,000 ft.² of ramp space.

“As we officially break ground, we look forward to the opportunities this expansion will create for our customers, employees and the local community,” says Allen McReynolds, West Star’s president and chief operating officer. “The expansion at Grand Junction reflects our focus on customer needs, service excellence and operational safety.”

The facility expansion was designed and built in collaboration with Tectonic Management Group and is expected to be completed in Q2 2026.
