Air France-KLM is a global air transport company carrying 77.3 million passengers generating $33.1 billion in revenues in 2013. The company includes a multi-product aircraft maintenance group for Boeing, Airbus and regional aircraft and offers component support services for 737, 747, 767, 777, A320 family, A330, A340, A380, ATR, CRJ, E-jets, ERJ and Q400.
Miami Facilities
The company has more than 500 employees and services over 100 airlines. With 7 facilities across the US, 3 of AFI KLM E&M’s MRO facilities are located in Miami: AMG, Bonus Aerospace and Barfield. (Other faciliites are locaed in Phoenix, Blythville, Louisville and Atlanta).
Aero Maintenance Group (AMG)
AMG, a 100% owned subsidiary of Air France, is a family of companies that has a network of technical and operational alliances providing airline customers and aviation related companies with maintenance, repair and overhaul services, as well as inventory availability. The acquisition of AMG by AFI-KLM E&M was initiated in 2004.
The AMG Family
The AMG family is comprised of AMG Aero Technologies, AMG Air-Pro and AMG Precision Electronics. The company offers engine dismantling, consignment and repair outsourcing.
Barfield
Barfield is an FAA and EASA certified repair center offering maintenance services to major passengers, cargo, and regional airlines mainly located in North, South and Central America and the Caribbean.
Authorized Distributor
Barfield is an authorized distributor for several OEMs and has a supplemental type certificate experience and capability. Barfield also offers technical assistance, repair solutions services and AOG.
Ground Support Test Equipment
Barfield designs, manufactures, sells and repairs ground support test equipment (GSTE) with four main product lines: air data test equipment, fuel quantity test equipment, turbine temperature test equipment and cable tensiometers.
Bonus Aerospace
Bonus Aerospace is an independent MRO provider with a fully certified engine repair facility. Its capabilities include the JT8D-200, JT8D basic and the PW4000-94 and also performs customized work scopes. It is one of the companies in AFI KLM E&M’s portfolios that resulted from the TSI joint venture.
Shop upgrade
Bonus Aerospace recently had a shop upgrade totaling the facility to 67,500 sq. ft. and added new balancing machines, cleaning line, NDT line and computer system and software (Quantum).
