Midvale Industries’ eStrip GPX is an aerospace coating removal system. The product is a corn hybrid polymer (Type VII plastic abrasive) designed to remove coatings off of aircraft without damaging composites or thin-skinned aluminum. This process is typically 8-10 times faster than hand-sanding components. The medium is also recyclable.

TDA recently acquired an Airbus A320, MSN 2137, for teardown. With a manufacturing date of Oct. 17, 2003, this is one of the youngest A320s being torn down. The disassembly process at Ecube Solutions in Wales has been completed, and parts are available for sale.
