Specifications: Aerospace coatings specialist AkzoNobel recently received approval from Boeing for color blending of its Aerodur 3001 basecoat at its Dongguan facility, which will give Chinese customers a local supply of OEM-quality Aerodur 3001/3002 basecoat. Late last year, Japan Airlines became one of the first airlines to select AkzoNobel’s Aerodur HS 2121, which is its new sustainable, selectively strippable system for aircraft exteriors.
