The Civil Aviation Administration of China has continued the suspension of scheduled passenger flights between China and the UK from 00:00 of Jan. 11, 2021, Beijing time.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-0009 for Rolls-Royce Deutschland Trent 1000s, requiring lockout and deactivation of modulated air system control valves, effective Jan. 15, 2021.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-0010 for Pilatus PC-12/47Es, requiring modification of fuel inward vent valve, effective Jan. 25, 2021.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-0013 for ATR42-500s and ATR72-212As, requiring replacing global navigation satellite system and amending aircraft flight manual, effective Jan. 27, 2021.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-0014 for Fokker F28 Mark 0070s and 0100s, requiring inspection of outer wing lower skin, effective Jan. 27, 2021.

EASA has corrected airworthiness directive 2021-0005 for Pilatus PC-12/45s, /47s, /47ELTDs, amending time limits and maintenance checks in airworthiness limitations section, effective Jan. 21, 2021.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-0017 for Airbus: A340-211, -213s, -311s and -312s, requiring modification and reinforcement of type A emergency exit door frames, effective Jan. 28, 2021.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-0019 for Airbus, A340-211s, -213s, -311 and -312s, requiring modification and reinforcement fuselage of type A emergency exit door frames, effective Jan. 29, 2021.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2021-02-05 for all Airbus A330-200s, -200 freighters, -300s, -800s and -900s, A340-200s and -300s, and A340-541s and -642s, requiring re-torqueing the attachment nuts of each pitot probe whose torqueing was incorrect in aircraft maintenance manual, effective Jan. 29, 2021.

On Dec. 31, 2020, a working agreement on airworthiness cooperation was signed between Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency and the Civil Aviation Agency of Tajikistan.

Transport Canada has issued airworthiness directive CF-2020-06R1 for De Havilland Aircraft of Canada DHC-8-100s, -200s, -300s and -400s, requiring barrel nut inspections, effective Jan. 21, 2021.

Transport Canada has issued airworthiness directive CF-2021-01 for Airbus Canada Limited Partnership A220-100s and A220-300s, requiring replacing each fire extinguisher hose assembly part number 999D0007-503 with part number 999D0007-505, with provision for the installation of two safety cables as secondary retention, effective Jan. 22, 2021.
