Maintenance & Materials
Our engine overhaul centers around the world are dedicated to providing world-class quality and customer service. As the fleet of Pratt & Whitney GTF™ engines grows, we continue to add capacity and expand the GTF MRO network, which is comprised of the industry’s leading MRO companies. There are currently eleven active GTF MRO engine centers worldwide. In addition, our Line Maintenance Services team travels the globe to provide the highest level of technical support and issue mitigation.
It is our commitment to offer a comprehensive, flexible services portfolio to support engines throughout their lifecycle. Our services range from long-term fleet management programs to transactional engine overhaul and part repair, LLP solutions, new and used serviceable material programs, engine swaps, an engine lease pool, and predictive analytics. This growing portfolio is providing smarter, more straightforward solutions that meet our customers’ unique operational and financial needs.
Across our MRO sites, we’re focusing on automation and sustainability. We are committed to inserting technology across our facilities while simultaneously re-imagining operations and pursuing greener practices. Aside from our flagship, environmentally friendly engine – the GTF engine, which has saved airlines more than 1 billion gallons of fuel and avoided more than 10 million metric tonnes of carbon emissions since entering service in 2016 – our MRO sites have also been implementing water consumption projects, leveraging solar fields and reducing industrial waste among other initiatives. The technology adoption is a multi-year plan to further enhance operational efficiency and productivity and to develop into an Industry 4.0 ready organization. We are reskilling and upskilling employees to ensure that they are ready for tomorrow’s technologies, today.
Intelligence
EngineWise® Data by ADEM™ (Advanced Diagnostics and Engine Monitoring) allows us to manage customers’ engine health and maintenance planning requirements, working to maximize each customer’s specific engine performance and engine time on-wing, while maintaining predictable MRO spend. Our system currently provides analysis for more than 8,000 in-service engines. Our expert data analysts help to reduce operational disruption through predictive and preventative maintenance.
